Many people want to rank their site on Google.
Because that’s where all the traffic is.
When people go online, which is pretty much every minute, they’re statistically most likely to end up on Google.
And they’re searching for different stuff.
They could be searching for a particular website, looking for information on a particular topic or they’re looking to purchase something.
And all these results are websites.
If you’re ranking for a bunch of different search terms, you will be bringing in a ton of traffic.
Depending on the intent behind these search terms, they will produce different results.
So how hard is it to rank #1 on Google?
Well, it all depends…
On the keyword you’re trying to go after.
If you’re trying to rank for “Weight loss pills”, it’s going to be tough because there are a lot of authority and well established sites ranking for that term.
And if you were to start a fresh blog trying to rank for that term…
You’re going to have a super tough time and won’t be on page 1 anytime soon.
If you’re going after a low competition term like “what is the best weight gainer for skinny guys”.
You’ll have a much better chance ranking for that.
It all depends on the competition, your website’s authority and how much effort you’re willing to put in to rank for that term.
SEO is a tough game and no one knows exactly how long it’s going to take for you to rank #1.
If you’re starting a fresh website, I would recommend you focusing on low competition keywords and in-depth content.
Also, if you have the money, I would recommend an SEO coach.
